The diagonals of a rhombus are $24$ metres and $10$ metres; calculate the side of it.

Side $=\sqrt{{\left(\frac{d_1}{2}\right)}^2+{\left(\frac{d_2}{2}\right)}^2}$
Where $d_1$ and $d_2$ are the diagonals of the rhombus
$\therefore Side=\sqrt{{\left(\frac{24}{2}\right)}^2+{\left(\frac{10}{2}\right)}^2}$
$=\sqrt{{12}^2+5^2}=13$ metres.
