The diagonals of a rhombus are 48cm and 20cm. Find the area and perimeter of the rhombus.

Open in App
Solution

Area of rhombus = 1/2(product of diagonals )
= 1/2(48×20)
=480 cm ^2
Side ^2 = 24^2+10^2
side ^2 = 576+100=676
side = √676 = 26
Therefore perimeter = 4×side = 4× 26= 104 cm
