(1) overall reaction is endothermic. This is because products have higher energy than reactants. Hence, during reaction, energy is absorbed.
(2) activation energy of the forward reaction is greater than that for the reverse reaction. The difference in the activation energy of forward and reverse reaction is the enthalpy change of the reaction which is positive.
(3) Forward reaction is a less rapid reaction than the reverse reaction as forward reaction has higher activation energy than reverse reaction.
