The diagram (Fig.2.6) below shows the pattern of the oil on the road, dripping at a constant rate from a moving car.What informations do you get from it about the motion of car ?

From above we can conclude that the car is de-accelerating
ie retardation is happening

because the drops are getting closer and closer which means the velocity of the car is decreasing
