The correct option is D. The numbers of chromosomes in P and S are the same.​

In a diploid organism, the gametes are expected to be haploid in nature. Therefore, all the gametes from a single type of organism are expected to have the same chromosome number. Here, R will have double the chromosome number of the rest. But P and S both are gametes of the same organism and hence they have the same chromosome number.
