The diagram shows a coil of several turns of copper wire near a magnet NS. The coil is moved in the direction of the arrow shown in the diagram.

How would the current in coil be altered if:
the coil was made to move three times fast?

For the given question current induced in coil is directly proportional to velocity of coil.
Hence, on increasing the coil velocity to three times in the direction of magnet, current becomes thrice.
