the point M is the midpoint of the diagonals DF and EG.
calculate .
a) the coordinate of M
b) the coordinate of the vertex D.

Given :
M is the mid point of EG

Co-ordinates of M are (372,2+32) [by section formula]

M=(5,12)

Now again M is the mid point of DF and DMMF=1

Let D=(x,y)

(x12,y+32)=(5,12)

Comparing we get

x12=5

x=9

y+32=12

y=2

co-ordinater of D is (9,2)
