The correct option is A It is converging lens of power less than 10D.
The emerging rays from this converging lens are going to be parallel when the object is situated on focus. But here the rays after passing through the lens are diverging, hence a virtual image of the object will be formed. Therefore, the object is placed between focus and optical center. Thus, the focal length is more than 10cm.
