Solution

In the given figure, C is the style. Style is a long stalk like structure of a flower and it connects stigma to ovary. During pollination, pollen grain germinates on the surface of stigma and a pollen tube emerge from them. The pollen tube travels through the style and reach the ovary to release the male gametes it is carrying. Hence, style assists in fertilisation.
