Finding the are of the circle:

To find out the area of the circle radius ( r ) is required.

$$\begin{gathered} \mathrm{r}=\frac{\mathrm{d}}{2} \\ \mathrm{r}=\frac{3.5}{2}=1.75\mathrm{m} \end{gathered}$$

Substitute the value of r obtained above in the formula of area of circle

Area of circle $=\mathrm{\pi }{\mathrm{r}}^2$

$$\begin{gathered} =\frac{22}{7}\times 1.75\times 1.75 \\ =\frac{67.375}{7}[\mathrm{Multiply}22,1.75\mathrm{and}1.75] \\ =9.625{\mathrm{m}}^2[\mathrm{didvide}67.375\mathrm{by}7] \end{gathered}$$
Hence, $9.625{\mathrm{m}}^2$ is the area of circle.
