breadth $b=6cm$

Let length $=l$

Using Pythagoras theorem

$l^2+b^2=d^2{l}^2+{\left(6\right)}^2={\left(10\right)}^2{l}^2+36=100l^2=100-36=64l=\sqrt{64}=8$

So length of rectangle $=8cm$
