The correct option is B $1.5 m$

first concentric circle have commen centre.
inner circle denotes the pool and outer circle denotes the pool with carpet.
D is the widthof carpet.
given Diameter of inner and outer circles are 6cm and 9cm respectively.
$r a d i u s$ = $\frac{d i a m e t e r}{2}$

therefore $r_{1} = 3 c m$
$r_{2} = 4.5 c m$
The width of carpet $(w)$ = $r_{2} - r_{1}$
$w = 4.5 - 3 = 1.5 c m$

So, option B is the answer.
