Step 1.Finding radius of roller

Diameter of roller =84cm

Therefore radius (r)=842=42cm

Step 2.Finding CSA of roller.

CSA of roller =CSA of cylinder

=2πrh=2x227x42x120[given,h=120cm]=44x6x120=44x720=31680cm2

Step 2.Finding area of playground

Area covered by roller in one revolution =31680cm2

Therefore area covered by roller in 500 revolution=500x3168010000[1cm2=110000m2]

=1584m2

Area of the playground =area covered by roller in 500 revolution
