The diameter of the wheel of a bus is 140 cm. How many revolution per minute must the wheel make in order to move at a speed of 66 km/hr.

Diameter of the wheel =140 cm
Radius =70 cm
Now,
1 round distance =2πr=2×227×70=440 cm

Since distance traveled in 60 mnts=66×1000×100 cm
Therefore, distance traveled in 1 mnts=6660×1000×100 cm=110000 cm

Revolution in 1 mnt=110000440=250

Hence, 250 revolution per minute must the wheel make in order to move at a speed of 66 km/hr.
