Solution

The correct option is C Rs. 120000
Let the sum be Rs.x.
Then, S.I=x×8×2100=Rs.4x25 --- ( 1 )

C.I=x×(1+8100)2x

C.I.=x×(2725)2x

C.I=729x625x=104x625 -- ( 2 )

C.IS.I=104x6254x25=4x625 [From (1) and (2)]

768=4x625

x=768×6254=Rs.120000
