Solution

The correct option is D

156 and Rs. 159

Let the C.P. of the coat = Rs. 100

I S.P. at a profit of 4 = Rs. (100 + 4) = Rs.104

II S.P. at a profit of = Rs. (100 + 6) = Rs. 106

Difference in the two selling prices = Rs. (106 - 104) = Rs. 2

If the difference is Rs. 2, then first S.P. = Rs. 104

If the difference is Rs. 3, then first S.P = Rs. 1042×3= Rs. 156.

Second S.P = Rs. 156 + Rs. 3 = Rs. 159.
