Question

The difference between two positive integers is 30. The ratio of these integers is 2:5 . Find the integers.

Let, First number be 2x
Then second number will be 5x
(because numbers are in ration 2:5)
Now, according to the question
5x-2x=30
=> 3x=30
=>x=10
Therefore, First number is 2x=210=20
and second number is 5x=510=50
