Solution

The correct option is C

Rs. 6400

Given that n = 2 years ; r = 15 %

Let the Sum of money be P

C.I = A - P

I = A - P

Hence I = P(1+r100)n - P
C.I = P(1+15100)2 - P
C.I = (115P100)2 - P
C.I = (23P20)2 - P
C.I = 129P400

S.I = S.I = PRT100
= P×15×2100
= 3P10

C I - S I = 144

P[129400310]=144
P[9400]=144
P=144×4009
=Rs.6400
