The digit which can replace * in the number 29*2 is ,so that it is divisible by 9.

We have to replace * with such a number that this number should be divisible by 9.

We know that,

If the sum of the digits of a number is divisible by 9 then the number will be divisible by 9.

Here,

2+9+2=13

So, to make it divisible, we have to place 5 in place of *.

then the sum become 18.

Thus the number will 2952.
