The dimensions of a godown are 40m, 25m and 10 m. If it is filled with cuboidal boxes each of dimensions $2m\times 1.25m\times 1m$, then the number of boxes will be

Given, dimensions of a godown are 40m, 25 m and 10m.
$\therefore$ Volume of godown $=40\times 25\times 10$
$=10000m^3$
Now, volume of each cuboidal box $=2\times 1.25\times 1$
$=2.5m^3$
$\therefore$ The number of boxes that can be filled in the godown $=\frac{Volumeofgodown}{Volumeofeachcuboidalbox}$
$=\frac{10000}{2.5}=4000$
