Given details are,
Dimensions of metal block
= $2.25 m \times 1.5 m \times 27 c m$
= $2.25 m \times 1.5 m \times 0.27 m$
(0.5 marks)

Side of each cube formed = $45 c m$ = $0.45 m$

$N u m b e r o f c u b e s t h a t c a n b e f o r m e d$ =  $\frac{V o l u m e o f m e t a l b l o c k}{V o l u m e o f o n e c u b e}$
(1 mark)

= $\frac{2.25 \times 1.5 \times 0.27}{0.45 \times 0.45 \times 0.45}$

= $\frac{0.91125}{0.091125}$

= 10 cubes

∴ 10 cubes are formed.
