Given the dimensions of the room are,
$8 c m, 6 c m, 5 c m$
Let, $l = 8 c m, b = 6 c m, h = 5 c m$
So, area of the $4$ walls of the room $= 2 \times (l + b) \times h = 2 \times (8 + 6) \times 5 = 140 {c m}^{2}$
Hence, the cost of dis-tempering the $4$ walls of the room at the cost of $R s .80$ per square metre $= 140 \times 80 = R s .11200 .$
