Solution

The correct option is D IV only
Plague was one of the deadliest diseases in human history. “Black death” was a pandemic of plague in the fourteenth century, it was one of the most devastating global pandemics that struck Europe and Asia. It wiped out millions of people (almost 30% of the population of Europe). Plague is caused by a rod shaped non-motile bacteria called Yersinia pestis. This bubonic plague attacks the lymphatic system and if untreated, its infection spreads to the blood and lungs. The disease was terrifyingly efficient to kill a healthy person overnight, about 20-25 million people are estimated to have died in Europe from this plague.
