Let v0 be tbe linear velocity and ω0 the angular velocity of the disc as shown in figure then, v0−rω0=2v....(i)
v0+rω0=−v....(ii) Solving Eqs. (i) and (ii), we have
ω0=−32vr Hence. the angular velocity of disc is 32vr anticlockwise
