The correct option is A 1.5 units, 4 units
WKT, 3rd equation of Kinematics is given by v2=u2+2aS(1),
Where, u= initial velocity
v= final velocity , a= acceleration and S= Distance
Given , v=3x+16
Squaring both side we get, v2=3x+16v216=3xv242=3x(2)
Now, Comparing equation (1) and (2) , we get
u=4units and 2a=3a=1.5units
