Step 2: Finding the reading on the thermometer in Fahrenheit scale:

We know that in Celsius scale, 100-0=18cm,

Where 100 is the UFP and 0is the LFP.

Thus, 1cm=100180C

For 8cm the temperature

8×100180C

We know that,

0F=95×0C+32

Hence, 0F=95×8×10018+32

0F=1120F
