Question

The distance travelled by a particleboard is proportional to the square of time, then the particle travels with uniform acceleration. How? Can you derive it?

Solution

Let S be the distance travelled.
S is proportional to t^2
S=K t^2
differentiating S w.r.t. t will get velocity , V
V=2 K t
differentiating V w.r.t t will get acceleration,a
a=2 K
=constant
=uniform acceleration.
