Open in App
Solution

As we know that 1 kilometre = 1000 metres and 1 m = 11000 kilometres
Distance between home and temple = 300 metres
Since 1 metre = 11000 kilometres,
300 metres = 3001000 kilometres = 0.3 kilometres
Similarly, distance between temple and school = 495 metres = 4951000 kilometres = 0.495 kilommetres.
Therefore, total distnace travelled by Prateek = 0.3 + 0.495 = 0.795 kilometres
