The zygote in crucifers divides transversally to produce terminal and basal cells. The terminal cells divides vertically to produce 4 celled embryo and basal cell produces suspensors and in some plant produces hypocotyl. Each four cell divides transversally and produces 8 celled embryo. The 8 cells further divides to form inner and outer cells of the embryo. Thus, the correct answer is option A.
