The correct option is D 5600 cm2

Area of the doormat = Area of 2 trapezium

Given that,
Height of the trapezium
= 70 /2 cm
= 35 cm

Length of two parallel sides are 90 cm and 70 cm.

Area of the trapezium
= (½) × h ×
(a + b)

= (½) × 35 × (90 + 70)

= 2800 cm2


Hence, area of doormat
= 2 ×
2800
= 5600 cm2
