We can see that the student obtained 30 in Maths in 2005-06 and 60 in 2006-07 respectively. So, the increase in number will be = 60 - 30 = 30.

The percentage increase will be
= 3030×100
= 100%

We can see that the marks in Hindi have remained the same over the two years. The student has obtained 60 in Hindi in both years.
