Given equation
E=3.1cos[(1.8radm)y+(5.4×108rads)t]^i...........(i)

Standard equation at electromagnetic wave in terms of electric field,

E=E0cos(ky+wt).........(ii)

If the wave is moving in y direction

Wave length, λ=2πCoefficientofy

=2π1.8=2×22/71.8

λ=441.8×7=3.49=3.5m

velocity of wave, v=coefficient of lcoefficient of y
v=5.4×1081.8=3×108

frequency, f=vλ=3×1083.5=8.6×107 Hz
