Solution

Due to the exploitation of resources and the British colonial policies, India lacked modern industrial development and there was acute unemployment among the educated youth. There were very few jobs available for them which led to fierce competition among them. The situation was further worsened by the divide and rule policy of the Britishers and the demand reservation in jobs on the basis of caste creed of religion. As a consequence, communal feelings developed among the Indians.
