Solution

The correct option is D 1 root
The given equation is

(x+2)(x5)(x3)(x+6)=(x2)(x+4)

(x+4)(x+2)(x5)=(x2)(x3)(x+6)

(x+4)(x+2)(x5)(x2)(x3)(x+6)=0

(x3+x222x40)(x3+x224x+36)=0

2x76=0762

i.e. x=38, the given equation has only one root.
