Solution

The correct option is C b=c
Let the roots of the equation f(x)=ax2+bx+c=0 be α,β
Now, the equation with roots α1,β1 is,
f(x+1)=0a(x+1)2+b(x+1)+c=0
ax2+(2a+b)x+(a+b+c)=0
Comparing to the equation
2x2+8x+2=0
So,
a2=(2a+b)8=a+b+c2=k
Where is some constant,
a=2k2a+b=8kb=4ka+b+c=2kc=4k

Therefore,
b=c, b=2a, c=2a
a:b:c=1:2:2
