The correct option is B 2x+8=2
If -3 is the solution of the equation then it will satisfy the equation.

Consider x+1=0
Substitute x=3 then 3+1=20
Consider,
2x+8=2....(2)

Consider LHS of equation (1).
Put x=3, we get
2(3)+8
=6+8
=2
LHS is equal to RHS.
Hence, the equation having 3 as a solution is 2x+8=2.

Consider x+3=1
Substitute x=3 then 3+3=01

Consider 5x+1=0
Substitute x=3 then 5(3)+1=140
