General equation of line is given as,

$y - y_{1} = m (x - x_{1})$

$\Rightarrow y - 7 = \frac{- 1}{2} (x - 4)$

$\Rightarrow 2 y - 14 = - x + 4$

$\Rightarrow x + 2 y - 18 = 0$
