The equation of motion,s=10t3t2·····1

Step 2: Formula used:

The relation between velocity and displacement is given by-

v=dsdt

Step 3: Calculation of time:

Differentiate the equation 1 with respect to time to obtain velocity,

dsdt=d10t-3t2dtv=10-6t

But v=0 at maximum height. So,

0=10-6t6t=10t=53

Therefore, the stone will return in 2×53=103sec as it reached a maximum height in 53sec similarly it will take the same time to return to the surface of the planet.

Hence, option A is the correct answer.
