Given equation can be written as y=6sin(4πt0.2πx)
Phase ϕ=0.2πx
ϕ1=0.2πx1 and ϕ2=0.2πx2
Phase difference Δϕ=|ϕ2ϕ1|=|0.2π(x2x1)|
given (x2x1)=2mm substituting in above equation we get Δϕ=0.2×1800×2=720
