Solution
The correct option is A3x+2y−2=0 The equation of a line concurrent with the lines 4x+3y−7=0 and 8x+5y−1=0 is (4x+3y−7)+λ(8x+5y−1)=0 ⇒(4+8λ)x+(3+5λ)y−7−λ=0....(i) Given, the gradient of the line is 32 ∴−8λ+45λ+3=32 ⇒16λ+8=15λ+9 ⇒λ=1 On putting λ=1 in Eq. (i), we get (4+8×1)x+(3+5×1)y−7−1=0 ⇒12x+8y−8=0 or 3x+2y−2=0.
