Solution

The correct option is A 3x+2y2=0
The equation of a line concurrent with the lines 4x+3y7=0 and 8x+5y1=0 is
(4x+3y7)+λ(8x+5y1)=0
(4+8λ)x+(3+5λ)y7λ=0....(i)
Given, the gradient of the line is 32
8λ+45λ+3=32
16λ+8=15λ+9
λ=1
On putting λ=1 in Eq. (i), we get
(4+8×1)x+(3+5×1)y71=0
12x+8y8=0
or 3x+2y2=0.
