The given curve is y=xex

When x = 0, y=0×e0=0

Also, the sleope of the tangent at any point (x0,y0) is given by

slope=dydx|(x0,y0)

Here, dydx=d(xex)dx

=x×ddx(ex)+ex×ddx(x)

=xex+ex
=ex(1+x)

Thus, at (0,0), dydx=e0(1+0)=1

The slope of the tangent at (0,0) is 1

Thus, the equation of the tangent is y0=1(x0)
Which is y = x.
