The correct option is A 2y=x±4
Slope of the given line y+2x=4 is 2
Given ellipse is x24+y23=1
Equation of tangent whose slope is m is y=mx±4m2+3 (1)

Given that tangent and given line are perpendicular to each other. So,
m×(2)=1
m=12
Now, from equation (1)
y=12x±1+3
2y=x±4
