At infinite dilution, the equivalent conductance of barium sulfate is the sum of the equivalent conductance of barium ion and sulfate ion.

It can be obtained by adding the equivalent conductances of barium chloride and sulfuric acid and then subtracting twice the value of the equivalent conductance of hydrochloric acid.

Hence, ΛBaSO4=ΛBaCl2+ΛH2SO4ΛHCl=x1+x22x3.
