Solution

Outer dimensions of a closed wooden box = 48 cm × 36 cm × 30 cm
Thickness of wood = 1.5 cm.
Inner length (l) =482×1.5cm=483=45cm
Breadth (b) = 36 - 2 × 1.5 = 36-3 = 33 cm
Height (h) = 30-2 × 1.5 = 30 -3 = 27 cm
Volume of inner box = l×b timesh
= 45×33×27cm3=40095cm3
Volume of one brick of size 6 cm × 3 cm × 0.75 cm
= 6×3×0.75=6×3×34cm3=272cm3
Number of bricks = 40095×227
= 1485 × 2 = 2970 bricks
