The given expression is
2a2+7a+6
The product of first and last term is 12a2
The middle term is 7a
So, two terms whose product is 12a2 and sum is 7a will be
4a and 3a
So, splitting the middle term we get
= 2a2+4a+3a+6
= 2a(a+2)+3(a+2)
= (a+2)(2a+3) [Taking (a+2) common]
