In the diagram, we can see the stenosis or the narrowing of the blood vessel by the formation of plaque. This plaque can be removed by angioplasty whereby, the coronary arteries, which are blocked by the plaque which narrows it can be widened by removal of plaque. This is being shown in the diagram.
