Solution

The correct option is C both b and c
Ribosomes are called the 'protein factories' of the cell. They are non-membrane bound organelles that are sites of protein synthesis. They are made up of two sub-units - a large and a small sub-unit. There are two types of ribosomes - the 70S in prokaryotes and the 80S in eukaryotes.

Proteins are large biomolecules made up of individual monomers called amino acids. The amino are joined together by peptide bonds and form peptides. These peptides join together to form polypeptides which form the proteins. The synthesis of proteins involves two steps - transcription and translation.
