The figure shows the field lines of a positive charge. Is the work done by the field is moving a small positive charge from Q to P positive or negative?

Potential at point P is greater than Q as distance of P is nearer as compare to Q

And we are taking charge from lower potential to higher potential but in reality work done is negative when we take it from higher to lower potential

so here work done will be positive.

Hence work done in taking charge particle from Q to P is positive.
