Total time, $T = 2 h + 3 h = 5 h$

Average speed, $v_{a v g} = \frac{d}{T} = \frac{50 km}{5 h}$
$⟹ v_{a v g} = 10 kmph$

Also $1 k m = 1000 m$ , $1 h = 60 min = 3600 s$
$⟹ 10 kmph = \frac{10 \times 1000}{3600} m/s$
$= \frac{25}{9} m/s = 2.78 m / s$
Average speed = 2.78 m/s
