Solution

The correct option is B Fifth month
In the case of humans, the pregnancy period or gestation is divided into three trimesters of three months each. The heart of the embryo is developed after a month of pregnancy. The fetus develops limbs and digits gradually by the end of the second month. Major organs are formed after the end of the first trimester (12 weeks). It is during the fifth month that hair starts appearing on the fetus’s head and first signs of movement are shown. When the second trimester is completed, the body of the fetus will be covered with fine hair. Separated eye-lids, and eyelashes are also formed at this stage. It is by the end of the third trimester (9 months) that the fetus will be fully developed.
